Our community is part of the premier Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, a ConcertGolf Partner. A first-class clubhouse, a fine restaurant, two 18-hole golf courses, numerous tennis courts, several bocce courts, and six pickleball courts are available to those who opt for membership. Several levels of membership keep it affordable for all.

The Venice-Sarasota area is one of the prime vacation destinations in Florida, especially the world famous beach at Siesta Key. The closest beach to our community is Manasota Key, reachable in 10 minutes by car. Other beaches nearby are Venice Beach, famous for its sunset drum circle, Englewood Beach, and Nokomis Beach. Boating and fishing, especially from the pier at Sharky’s and the jetty in Venice, are popular activities. Sarasota features world class museums and performing arts to satisfy every taste.

Members of the community often organize informally for outings to movies, restaurants, bowling, museums, day trips, boating, golfing, bicycle rides, zoo, aquarium, planetarium, collecting shark teeth, outlet shopping, thrifting, tennis, and wild animal watches, such as manatees and dolphins at the jetty.
